Nirvana was a famous band that dominated the charts until their lead singer, Kurt Cobain, commited suicide in 1994. Nirvana is most known for starting the 1990's grunge trend. Following their success other bands such as, "Alice in Chains", and "Soundgarden" starting to rise to the top.
